I am the Deputy Director of Photography at CNN. I supervise a team of editors and direct global coverage of daily news, features and special projects.
I was named the visual editor of the year by Pictures of the Year International in 2025, and my team has twice won POY's Angus McDougall Overall Excellence in Editing Award.
I was the lead photo editor on a CNN As Equals project about the impact of the climate crisis on gender inequality. The work from seven women photojournalists was exhibited in Dubai at COP28, the UN’s annual climate change conference. I was part of a panel discussion on the project at COP28 and spoke about the work in the SDG Media Zone during the 2023 UN General Assembly.
I was also one of the photo editors behind “Unprecedented: The Election That Changed Everything,” a book that features exclusive work from more than two dozen photographers who chronicled the 2016 US presidential election for CNN. Some of the images were projected on the Empire State Building alongside results on election night.
I serve on the board of directors of the Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar. I have done portfolio reviews for the Eddie Adams Workshop, Palm Springs Photo Festival, American Photographic Artists and Diversify Photo. And I have been on the jury of contests for Pictures of the Year International and Photoville's FENCE.
