About
Designer, developer, journalist.
No matter the role, it's about effective communication. Blending standards and creativity to create something accessible without sacrificing aesthetics. Form and function -- both are essential. I'm all about that.
I began teaching myself Web design in middle school. The Internet has come a long way since then, and I have only grown with it.
I have taken related courses in both the journalism and computer science colleges. This portfolio shows my latest developments.
This summer I start my position as the new media editor for The Independent Florida Alligator. I hope to improve the student paper's online presence, making it more of a primary news outlet and taking advantage of the potential for multimedia projects. I will also implement its first content management system.
Who is that?
